ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY

I use a global network of remote robotic telescopes to capture image data. I then use PixInsight to process the data into images. For an introduction to this fascinating hobby check out our video under the tab above "OUT OF THIS WORLD"

WHAT DO WE DO?

WE HOST STAR PARTIES

WHAT IS A STAR PARTY?

It is a gathering of amateur astonomers to contemplate and observe our night sky. Huron County, along the West Coast of Ontario, is a good dark sky area. Site locations are chosen away from light pollution. Participants are encouraged to bring telescopes and binoculars, but is not mandatory. The night sky viewing may include planets and stars; deep sky objects such as galaxies, nebulae and star clusters. Please dress for the weather and bring chairs to ensure that you are comfortable during the party.
